Outdoor Health and Safety Guidelines
There are no restrooms on site, but there are restrooms at The Starsmore Discovery Center which is down the road at the entrance to North Cheyenne Canon Park.
Wear clothes appropriate for the weather and climate. Bring or wear sun protection and rain gear should there be a chance of rain. Should the weather be inclement, the classes will be offered at an indoor location or on Zoom.
If you have an allergy to insect stings or another medical condition that might be affected by being in an outdoor environment, please bring your own medication to address that.
Black bears, which are in the vicinity, are usually not a danger to humans unless they perceive a threat to their young or food supply. Attacks on humans are very rare. A person encountering a black bear should never play dead, but should calmly stand their ground and raise their arms to appear larger and clearly human. If you feel there is a threat and you can get there calmly and safely, go to your car.
